Backpacks are getting packed, pencils are getting sharpened, and a new school year is right around the corner. At Kunes Hyundai of Sycamore, we believe the start of the year is a moment worth celebrating together, so we are inviting our neighbors to a Back to School Community Appreciation Event built around giving back to the students and families who make Sycamore feel like home.
Mark your calendar for Friday, August 15, from 10 AM to 3 PM at 1380 DeKalb Ave in Sycamore. Admission is complimentary, the whole family is welcome, and every visit helps support local students heading back to the classroom.
A Day of Fun for the Whole Family
We are turning our lot into a celebration for all ages. Stop by to enjoy a mini car show featuring some head-turning rides, grab a bite from the food trucks rolling in with something for everyone, and enjoy a lively soundtrack from our live DJ throughout the day. You will also be able to pick up Kunes freebies, including swag, goodies, and more while supplies last.
Enter to Win One of Three Backpacks Full of Prizes
The centerpiece of the day is our giveaway. Three lucky winners will take home a backpack loaded with prizes, including tech and tools to help make the school year a great one. Here is how entries work:
- Every three new school supply items you donate earns you one raffle ticket.
- You can earn a maximum of 15 entries per person each week.
- Purchase a vehicle from Kunes Hyundai of Sycamore and receive five additional entries.
- Winners must be present at the event to claim their prize.
School Supplies We Are Collecting
Every donation goes directly toward helping local students and families in our community. As you shop for your own back to school list, consider picking up a few extra items to share. We are collecting backpacks, notebooks, pencils and pens, binders, folders, crayons, glue, markers, and any other classroom essentials you would like to contribute.
Give Back Before August 15
You do not have to wait until event day to make a difference. Donations are being accepted now through Friday, August 15, so feel free to stop in ahead of time and add your entries early.
